Must have a minimum of BS or BA in Education from an approved accredited college or university and must hold a valid Oklahoma teaching certificate in the specified teaching field. Such alternatives to the above qualification as the Administration and Board may find appropriate and acceptable. Must be familiar with current applications of technology.

PERFORMANCE  RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated
• Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests and abilities of the students assigned.
• Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest of the students
• Prepare for classes assigned and show written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate superior
• Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior
• Guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals
• Employ a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media, consistent with the physical limitations of the location provided and the needs and capabilities of the individuals or student groups involved
• Assess the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required
• Address the learning diversities of all students on a regular basis, seeking the assistance of district specialists as required
• Integrate technology into classroom instructional programs
• Adhere to district teaching standards incorporating 21^st Century teaching practices.
• Maintain accurate and complete records as required by law, district policy and administrative regulation
• Attend staff meetings and serve on staff committees as required
• Responsible for organizing and administering the program to which one is assigned in conformity with state law and policies and procedures of the school building  and the Superintendent
• Abide by all district, state and federal laws, policies and procedures
